~Hawaijar Chagem Pomba~
Nothing is more memorable than a smell and when it comes to our very own "Hawaijar Chagem Pomba", I bet, it can travel miles...
This authentic cuisine is simply matchless with its strong taste and superlative stinks or aroma, in a better way????. It comprises of fermented soyabean basically cooked with a few handful of fragmented soft rice, petai, dill leaves and other assorted vegetables, fresh herbs, fermented fish and smoked fishes. Herbs and dill leaves provides the essential aroma here. It can be a complete meal in itself or be served with hot steaming rice. The blend is simply outstanding. Yummy....I am drooling already haha...
Whenever I think of 'Hawaijar Chagem Pomba', it connects me straight with my childhood days, my granny's kitchen-- sumptuous, relishing, delectable foods. I used to call it 'Abokki Chagem Pomba'.
Fine memories.... remarkably, nothing's more memorable than a smell....Abokki Chagem Pomba....
